Michael Bächli
Attorney at law and tax advisor Michael Bächli, born in 1967, has a career spanning over 20 years. Since 2005 he has headed up the tax departments of a regional and national fiduciary company (responsible for Basel and Aarau), each with an international focus. In the process, he has built up and managed an extensive client base.
Michael Bächli is both conversant in and writes in German, English and French. He looks after the interests of clients throughout Switzerland and maintains good contacts with the tax authorities. In addition to this, he has an international network of lawyers and tax advisors based in Europe, the US and in Asia with whom he collaborates on a regular basis regarding cross-border issues.
Michael Bächli is a member of the Basel-Country liberal party, FDP.Die Liberalen, and was re-elected to the Ettingen local council for the term of office from July 2020 to June 2024. He heads the finance and IT department.
Irina Flückiger
Irina Flückiger studied at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where she earned her doctorate in Linguistics. After moving to Switzerland in 2005, she alternated between running her own tourism business and later on two restaurants. She managed and administered the businesses herself, undergoing continuous training in the process. In 2021, she passed her diploma examination to become an accounting administrator with edupool.ch. Her role is focussed on customer support, managing financial and payroll accounting and preparing annual financial statements. Lastly, Irina Flückiger is an accredited interpreter (Russian/Ukrainian) for court proceedings, police interviews and other cantonal institutions such as hospitals.
Kathrin Geiser
Kathrin Geiser worked for over 30 years in Basel law firms and notary offices focusing on commercial law. During this time, she performed important duties in the area of trust-related services on behalf of clients and acquired considerable experience.
